This Privacy Policy explains how removerbg(“we”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use removerbg(the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, and account identifier.
• Images you upload. We process the images you submit in order to remove their backgrounds and return the result to you.
• Usage and billing data. We keep records needed to operate the Service, such as credit usage, API usage logs, and payment/subscription status (payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not by us).
• Technical data. Basic request data (such as IP address and timestamps) used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• To authenticate you and secure your account;
• To process payments and manage credits and subscriptions;
• To enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and ensure reliability;
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your uploaded images to train AI models.

3. Image Handling and Retention

Uploaded images are processed to generate your result. Processed results may be stored temporarily so you can download them or view recent history, and are automatically deleted after a limited retention period. We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active or as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser’s local storage to remember preferences such as your theme. We also use analytics (Google Analytics), which loads automatically when you visit. GA4 anonymizes IP addresses, and we do not enable advertising features. You can opt out via your browser controls or the Google Analytics opt‑out add‑on. We do not use advertising cookies on the website. In the mobile app, rewarded ads are served by Google AdMob (see Section 5); ad preferences are managed through the in‑app consent prompts (GDPR consent and, on iOS, App Tracking Transparency). 5. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on a small number of providers that process data on our behalf:

• Google — sign-in / authentication;
• Polar — payment and subscription processing on the website;
• RevenueCat, Google Play & Apple App Store — in-app purchase and subscription processing in the mobile app;
• Google AdMob — rewarded ads in the mobile app (device identifiers / advertising ID and, on iOS, SKAdNetwork attribution data, subject to your consent choices);
• Google Analytics — usage analytics;
• Infrastructure providers — hosting, storage, and database services used to run the Service.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. International Users

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in such locations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
