Yes. Each photo uses one background removal from your free daily allowance or your credits. Changing the color, switching to blur or editing afterwards costs nothing.
Will the edges look natural?
The AI keeps fine details such as hair and soft edges. If an edge looks off against a very different color, try a shade closer to the original background or adjust the subject in the editor.
Can I use my own brand color?
