Is the profile picture maker free?
Yes. Each photo uses one background removal from your free daily allowance or your credits. Changing the framing, shape or background and editing afterwards costs nothing.
What size should a profile picture be?
A square of at least 400 × 400 pixels works on most platforms. This tool exports 1080 × 1080, which stays sharp everywhere and is well within upload limits.
Should I download a square or a round picture?
Upload the square to social networks; they crop it to a circle themselves. Use the round PNG where you place the picture yourself, such as an email signature, slides or a website.
Can I make a PFP of my pet or my logo?
Yes. If no face is found, the subject is centered in the frame instead. You can adjust its size and position in the editor.
Can I adjust the framing myself?
Yes. Open the editor to move, resize or rotate your photo and adjust brightness and contrast before you download.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo is sent to our servers only to remove the background. It isn't used to train models or shared with third parties. Face detection, framing and edits run in your browser.
