Tips for better product photos
The background is handled. These make the product itself look its best.
Soft, even light
Shoot near a window or with two lights at 45°. Hard light leaves harsh shadows and burned highlights.
Show the front first
Use a straight, eye-level front view for the main image and save angles and details for the gallery.
Clean product, no props
Remove dust, tags and fingerprints. Most marketplaces don't allow props or extra items in the main image.
Keep a consistent look
Use the same marketplace preset for every product so sizes and margins match across your store.
Use a sharp, large photo
Start from a high-resolution photo so shoppers can zoom in. Amazon enables zoom from 1000 px.
Keep a natural shadow
A soft contact shadow grounds the product and looks more professional than a floating cutout.

- Is the white background maker free?
- Yes. Each photo uses one background removal from your free daily allowance or your credits. Switching marketplaces, colours or position afterwards costs nothing.
- Does it meet Amazon's main image rules?
- The Amazon preset uses a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255), a 2000×2000 px canvas and centers the product so it fills about 85% of the frame. You're still responsible for the product itself: no props, text or watermarks.
- Should I keep the shadow?
- A soft natural shadow usually looks more realistic and is allowed by most marketplaces. Turn it off before uploading if you want a fully flat cutout.
- Which marketplaces are supported?
- Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, Google Shopping, Instagram and Facebook Shop, TikTok Shop, Trendyol, Hepsiburada, n11, Mercado Libre, Shopee, Flipkart, Zalando, Ozon and Wildberries, plus square, original and custom sizes.
- Should I download JPG or PNG?
- JPG is accepted everywhere and is fitted to the marketplace's file size limit. PNG keeps maximum quality and is a good choice for your own store, for example on Shopify.
- What happens to my photo?
- Your photo is sent to our servers only to remove the background. It isn't used to train models or shared with third parties. Framing and editing run in your browser.
